" Not written , not done " is one of the basic principles for me in my life. Thus, i agree with all what you said in your post, especially the " paper " part =D Furthermore, I believe that writing your aims and goals - not only tasks and to-do lists - helps a lot in achieving them.
Regarding the photo , I liked the nice elegant diary you've got =)
